Simply press the bulb planter into the soil to the required depth, twist to remove a core of soil, pop the bulb into the hole, and replace the core.

Unlike most bulb planters, Burgon & Ball’s unique design features a deeply serrated edge to easily penetrate packed ground, cleanly removing a 6cm diameter core. The planter is clearly marked with depth indicators up to 4 inches for precise planting.
