Eradicate Eco Snail & Slug Bait is so safe that the active ingredient is an allowable food additive, making it non-toxic for pets, native fauna and other animals when used as directed.

Works in a range of conditions and on a variety of different snails & slugs to protect plants including seedlings, potted plants, vegetables and clumps of perennials.

Unlike alternatives such as Metaldehyde and Methiocarb, there is no withholding period for Eradicate, meaning it can be used right up to harvest giving maximum protection.

Scientifically designed for the harsh Australian climate, and to deal with the many varieties of snail and slugs that are commonly found in Australia. Even the size of the pellets are scientifically designed to provide 40% more baiting points, making it more effective on crops and excellent value for money.

Remaining effective even when it’s wet, the active ingredient in the pellets slowly degrades over several weeks. The active ingredient (elemental iron powder) is more environmentally friendly and breaks down as nutrients for soils and plants. Also, unlike others it can be used near waterways and does not pose a threat to surface or drinking water.

Snails and slugs stop feeding after eating, move away from the bait and die, meaning there is no problem with bait crowding. Eradicate Eco is eaten, snails and slugs start to lose their appetite and crawl back to their shelter where they die. Paralysed or dead snails will rarely be seen in the open.
