Now you can easily integrate a worm farm into your garden beds to provide a sustainable and efficient solution for organic waste management.
What is vermiculture (worm farm) composting?
A composting method where earthworms and other microorganisms take care of your biodegradable waste, transforming it in a few months into compost resembling peat. This method is easy and odourless, and creates vermicompost that can be spread all over the garden using 40 to 60 percent of your household waste. You can put vegetable and fruit trimmings, leftover boiled vegetables, paper tea bags, coffee grounds and filters, crushed egg shells, dry bread in small pieces, and plants into the composter, making vermiculture an easy and holistic solution for composting.

About Plastia
Plastia started growing its business in 1993 in Nové Veselí and has developed from a local maker into a European manufacturer while keeping development, testing and production on a single site staffed by about one hundred employees. The company emphasises long product lifecycles, thoughtful design and practical innovation—especially in self-watering containers and composting solutions—so products stay useful season after season. Sustainability and circularity are core values: manufacturing waste is crushed and reprocessed, inner parts use recycled plastics where appropriate, and materials are clearly marked to make end‑of‑life recycling easier. Plastia also highlights strong local partnerships, energy‑saving measures and a hands‑on, improvement‑driven culture that links its origins to current product and environmental commitments.
