About Youngju
Master blacksmith Seok No-Ki has been working out of his workshop in Yeongju, North Gyeongsang for over 5 decades, carefully crafting sturdy and durable premium 100% hand-made garden tools. Seok No-Ki works with recycled truck springs and leftover manufacturing offcuts, heating and hammering the metal by hand to create reliable garden tools out of a single piece of steel.
He used the wisdom of his Korean ancestors who have cultivated for centuries, to create the Homi, a hoe shaped like a half-moon. It was specifically developed to “not put any strain on one’s wrist” while digging, removing all kinds of weeds, seeding, planting and more.
